Your Chance To Ask Questions To NH Gubernatorial Candidates
On Tuesday, September 8th, New Hampshire residents will have the chance to vote in our State Primary Election. Prior to reaching the polling booth, it is important to conduct research about the candidates so you can make an informed decision.
If you are interested in the 2020 race for governor, there is a valuable opportunity to learn about where the Gubernatorial candidates stand on issues that impact people with disabilities and ask your own questions. At the virtual forum, scheduled on Thursday, September 3 from 7-9 p.m. Candidates of both the Democrat and Republican parties will have the chance to speak for five minutes. They will then answer three questions determined by the five co-sponsoring NH disability organizations, ABLE NH, Disability Rights Center NH, Granite State Independent Living, Institute On Disability, NH Council on Developmental Disabilities. Afterward, members of the community such as you can ask questions regarding policies and topics that impact those with disabilities. Whether you have a disability yourself, you are a family member or friend of someone who has one, or want to support those in your community with a disability, this forum could be great for you.
