Are you interested in learning more about the legislative process, and the bills that impact people who experience a disability and their loved ones? If so – Policy Partners may be the right fit for you!
We are currently looking for people to take part in the next session of Policy Partners which will take place from September 2022-March 2023! During Policy Partners – each participant is paired with an experienced leader/advocate and benefits from targeting training sessions led by highly experienced local and national presenters on topics related to relationship building, community organizing, communication, persuasion, and issue framing.

Summer Camps 2022
Summer is coming soon! This means that now is the perfect time to find a summer camp that matches your child or loved one’s skills and interests – and allows them to participate in all or most of the activities provided.
New Hampshire Magazine recently published their 2022 Summer Camp Guide that you can find HERE.
The New Hampshire Camp Directors Association’s website is regularly updated with information on upcoming camps. One great thing about this website is that director’s names and emails are provided so families can reach out.
Studies show that summer camps positively impact a child’s mental and social wellbeing and allow them to partake in their hobbies while discovering new ones.
The UNH website has their summer 2022 youth programs listed on their website. Programs include athletics, arts, technology, and more. These programs often fill up fast so check it out today.
Angela Boyle, Director of Oral Health Services
I am excited to announce that Maggie Dolfini has accepted the position of nurse consultant here at Community Crossroads and began earlier this month.
Maggie joins Community Crossroads with many years’ experience in a variety of nursing capacities. Maggie’s most recent nursing role included working extensively with both the NH DHHS Foster Care and Special Medical Services at which she reviewed and coordinated needed medical services as well as engaged in interdisciplinary collaboration within the medical and developmental disability communities. We are thrilled with the opportunity to offer consultative nursing expertise to coordinators and case managers across all agency departments who are navigating the medical complexities of those we serve.
Maggie will bring added value to the supports and services provided to our individuals and their families. I hope you will take a moment to welcome her aboard!
Recognizing Valuable Partnerships
Center for Life Management (CLM)
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we would like to thank Center for Life Management (CLM) for being such a valuable partner. Years ago, Director of Collaborative Care Julie Lago and Director of Clinical Services Jennifer Chisholm created the Continuum of Collaborative Care which focuses on the dual diagnosis of those with a developmental disability and mental health diagnosis.
We are thankful to have CLM as a partner. To learn more about CLM and Mental Health Awareness Month, read out latest blog: http://www.communitycrossroadsnh.org/together-for-mental-health-may-is-mental-health-awareness-month/.
