Senior Accountant
Community Crossroads has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our Fiscal Department. Responsibilities include performing month end close journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and review of financial reports. A strong understanding of revenue recognition is needed to ensure a timely month end close. Assist with the independent annual audit. Maintain financial records and reports for more than one entity, respond to information requests and assist the Chief Financial Officer as needed.
Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience and a working knowledge of GAAP. Some public accounting experience as well as not-for-profit accounting is a definite plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong numeracy, and analytical skills, as well as sharp problem-solving and time management skills, are necessary. A highly organized and detail-oriented individual would succeed in this position.

Service Coordinator

We are looking to add to our professional team of Service Coordinators. In this role, you will ensure the people we serve receive the quality services they need to be successful in their lives and in their communities. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, have an optimistic attitude, and demonstrate a commitment to the important work we do!
Responsibilities
– Become familiar with community resources and connect individuals and families with the resources they need.
– Advocate on an agency and statewide level for services and supports needed.
– Ensure that individuals are given the necessary services they require, as well as following up with ongoing service needs.
– Maintain good relationships with the families and individuals served, as well as vendor agencies.
– Represent the agency in a professional manner.
Qualifications
– Bachelors in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
– 1-3 years of case management/rehabilitation or family support experience.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
